The importance of the learning environment

In my opinion, I believe the learning environment should be inviting for every student to learn and feel comfortable. The environment should not be plain with white walls and no decorations or art (like the picture above).  I feel the classroom should have the students artwork on the walls, the expectations of the classroom, and inviting educational workshops the students can access during their free time.  Each child should feel comfortable in the class.  The more the room is decorated and inviting the more enthuased students will be to learn and participate. Students need to be actively involved in the learning process, so it is very important to incorporate different types of lessons and activities in the lessons, as the video above explains.

  1. I absolutely agree with the classroom environment and how it should be inviting. Students need to feel welcome and comfortable to learn and your classroom will be exactly that.

  4. That is a great thought! I love when you walk into a classroom and it is bright and welcoming. A happy room is as important as a happy teacher
